I have been in the tax and accounting industries for 40 years and have managed this accounting firm as an independent tax accountant for 27 years.
We have staff of approximately 30 with revenue of JPY400m annually.
In recent years, due to IT, DX, and AI advancements, services such as tax and accounting, advisory, bookkeeping, payroll processing, monthly and annual closing work, and individual / corporate tax filings have become commoditized. However, the underlying expertise has practically remained unchanged for over 40 years. Reflecting on this, expertise on tax, accounting and finance may continue to exist and never becomes obsolete.
Although AI has becoming increasingly prevalent, our accounting firm is rich in management consulting expertise, and we believe it's not easily replaced by AI.
Our industry provides an excellent environment for developing business consulting skills and management sense. At its core, service is something we do for others — acting for their benefit without expecting gratitude, offering value before receiving payment. This is basically natural human act.

I have managed this accounting firm for 27 years, and I am not expert on micromanagement. I allow everyone to work in their best way. I believe this is the secret to harmony.
